Neil Nitin Mukesh, an actor, recently thought back on the challenges his appearance caused him to face in Bollywood. Speaking to a media outlet, he revealed that because he was from a family of singers and had a "firangi" (foreign) appearance, frequently being called a "angrez ka baccha," many people asked if he could even speak Hindi. He also said, "People wondered if I would be able to work in Hindi films. All these were my handicaps, which I turned into my positives."
 
In response to a question about whether he felt scared before landing his first Bollywood movie, Neil Nitin Mukesh said he was untouched by worries till he did.

He clarified that he couldn't afford to think about his future in dread or panic, stressing that establishing a reputation was something he had to do at any costs.
 
The New York actor went on to say that his appearance and family background made his path more difficult. Being the son of singer Nitin Mukesh and the grandson of the renowned singer Mukesh presented its own difficulties, he disclosed, since many people doubted his acting prowess.
 
His ability to speak correct Hindi was questioned, and he was frequently described as a "firangi" (foreigner) or "angrez ka baccha" (child of a foreigner). Although Neil acknowledged that these beliefs were early challenges, he made the decision to use these perceived limitations to his advantage.
 
He noted that because celebrities are instantly recognizable due to their line of work, the term "nepo kid" is frequently exalted in the entertainment sector.
 
Neil Nitin Mukesh is the grandson of the iconic singer Mukesh and the son of the well-known playback singer Nitin Mukesh, in case you were unaware. He started out in the entertainment business as a child actor, making appearances in the movies Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharnii (1989) and Vijay (1988).

Later, he worked as an assistant director on the 2002 movie Mujhse Dosti Karoge, which gave him behind-the-scenes expertise. Neil ultimately made his feature film debut in 2007 alongside Johnny Gaddaar, and he most recently starred in Hisaab Barabar, which came out in 2024.
