Seema Pahwa showers praise on Alia Bhatt!

On Thursday, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is getting ready to reveal the first glimpse of Heeramandi. Prior to the much-awaited revelation, Seema Pahwa, who worked with him on Gangubai Kathiawadi, revealed that, unlike popular belief, she never saw him yelling at anyone while they were filming. She also lavished admiration on the movie's star actress, Alia Bhatt.
Seema Pahwa showed her respect for Alia Bhatt, who won a National Film Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, in an interview with a media source. Seema was first apprehensive about collaborating with a youthful, accomplished actor, but she was pleasantly pleased by Alia's kind and genuine personality.
“Alia was a surprise for me. I thought she is a new girl, very successful. You never know how arrogant she could be, how she works. But she is extremely hardworking, very sincere, respects her elders, senior actors. She does it very well. I was very comfortable with her,” she revealed.
Pahwa, who played Sheela Mausi, the proprietor of a brothel in the movie, talked about her first reservations about taking on the project. She voiced her worries throughout filming on two different elements. First of all, she was unfamiliar with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's working style and his ability to put actors at ease because she had never worked with him before. Second, considering her history in comedy parts, she wasn't sure if the public would embrace her in a bad character.
She also says that she was pleasantly pleased when Bhansali asked her to play the part. She valued the director's laissez-faire attitude, which gave her plenty of leeway to explore her role unhindered.
The actress from Bala also addressed the director's alleged volatile behavior on production, saying that while she had heard rumors of him berating the workers, she had never actually seen anything happen. She clarified that Bhansali aspires to perfection in his work and is a perfectionist.
