Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi to play lead stars in Fennell's Wuthering Heights Adaptation!

According to a famous tabloid, Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi will play the leads in Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights. The 34-year-old Barbie star, who is currently expecting her first child, will play Catherine Earnshaw, while the 27-year-old actor from Saltburn will portray her famous lover, Heathcliff.
The film adaptation of Emily Brontë's classic novel will be produced by MRC in partnership with LuckyChap Entertainment. According to sources, preproduction on the project is still underway, with filming scheduled to begin in the United Kingdom later this year.
Wuthering Heights is Fennell's third feature film as director, following her Oscar-winning 2020 debut film Promising Young Woman and last year's thriller/comedy Saltburn.
Margot Robbie's LuckyChap Productions produced both films, while Elordi played the charming college student Felix Catton in Saltburn.
Emily Brontë's Gothic romance book, first published in 1847, follows Heathcliff, an orphan adopted by the aristocratic Earnshaw family, and Catherine Earnshaw, the family's daughter. Their relationship is passionate, tumultuous, and frequently destructive.
