Hersha Parady's sad demise at 78!

The actress Hersha Parady, well known for portraying Alice Garvey on Little House on the Prairie, died at the age of 78. She passed away at the Norfolk, Virginia, home of her son Jonathan Peverall. Her son had set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist with her medical costs while she battled a brain tumor. To provide her the finest care possible during her sickness, they were able to transport her to their Virginia home.

 

Betty Sandhoff was Hersha's real name when she was born in Ohio in 1945. From a young age, Parady had a tremendous affinity for performing. After graduating from Berea High School in 1963, she pursued acting because she preferred pretend play to doll play.
