Ajay Devgn starrer De De Pyaar De 2 will be filmed in 'beautiful and rustic locations' of Punjab!

The upcoming film De De Pyaar De 2 starring Ajay Devgn has generated a lot of buzz. According to sources, a large amount of the film would be shot in 'beautiful and rustic landscapes' in Punjab. Earlier, it was reported that Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Bhushan Kumar will reunite for the sequel. The film will pick up where De De Pyaar De left off, exploring humorous scenarios within Rakul Preet Singh's family.

 

A media source revealed, "As of now, the production is busy preparing for a 45-50 day schedule in some beautiful and rustic locations in Punjab." R. Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, and other cast and crew members will fly to Punjab next month, while Ajay Devgn will join them after completing his responsibilities for Son of Sardar 2 in the UK, according to the same news outlet.

 

The sequel is intended to improve on the first film's humor while also introducing a new dynamic between Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor. The most remarkable aspect of the sequel will be the fascinating interplay between Anil and Ajay's characters, which will offer a new layer to their on-screen chemistry. The film will continue to chronicle Ajay and Rakul Preet Singh's hilarious exploits as they face hurdles from Rakul's family.

 

Anushul Sharma will direct De De Pyaar De 2, which was scripted by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. It is widely regarded as one of the most anticipated films of 2025.
